Please Note: On Slide 6 of the recorded event, it was incorrectly stated that only SSIs identified during (1) the surgical admission or (2) through readmission to a healthcare facility would be shared with CMS. Kathy Allen-Bridson has provided corrected information that the NHSN will send to CMS COLO and HYST SSIs that are identified (1) during the surgical admission, (2) through readmission to a healthcare facility, or (3) as part of post-discharge surveillance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
