California Annual Medical Services Review Report

All Medicare Quality Improvement Organizations produce an Annual Medical Services Review Report, which includes the number of Medicare beneficiary complaints reviewed in their state. Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) is the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for California.

From July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2010, HSAG of California completed reviews on 323 cases. At the time of the 2009–2010 report, California had 4,704,734 Part A Medicare beneficiaries in the state.
