California Annual Medical Services Review Report

All Medicare Quality Improvement Organizations produce an Annual Medical Services Review Report, which includes the number of Medicare beneficiary complaints reviewed in their state. Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) is the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for California.

From August 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009, HSAG completed reviews on 313 cases. At the time of this report, California had 4,585,717 Part A Medicare beneficiaries in the state.
