Remaking American Medicine
Arizona Partners

Health Services Advisory Group, Inc., (HSAG), Arizona Medical Association (ArMA)
and Arizona Partnership for Implementing Patient Safety (APIPS), and Arizona Hospital and
Healthcare Association (AzHHA) are proud to support Remaking American Medicine
a four-part television series to be broadcast on PBS stations throughout the United
States in October. KAET, Channel 8 in Phoenix and KUAT, Channel 6 in Tucson are
the participating PBS stations in Arizona and will broadcast the programs at 10
p.m. (Arizona time) on Thursdays, October 5, 12, 19 and 26.
This series will be re-broadcast on Tuesdays beginning October 10 at 4:30 a.m. on
KAET Channel 8 in Phoenix and on Fridays beginning October 6 at 4:00 a.m. on KUAT
Channel 6 in Tucson.
The series focuses on successful patient safety initiatives and the stories behind
those efforts featuring compelling profiles of providers and patients who are working
together to change fundamentally the way health care is delivered in this country.
The goal of Remaking American Medicine is to inspire and
empower viewers, both members of the general public and health care professionals,
to join in efforts to transform American health care.
