Virtual Infection Prevention Train-the-Trainer Workshops

Top

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) Program and Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) conducted four virtual train-the-trainer workshops for nursing homes from May to August 2023, focused on improving infection prevention and control (IPC) practices to reduce HAIs and infection-related hospitalizations.

Below you will find links to access the:

  • Train-the-trainer recordings for all four workshop topics.
  • Office hour and Q&A session recordings.
  • Training toolkits, bundles, and resources.

The CDPH HAI Program and HSAG staff encourage nursing homes to enhance their current IPC training programs by incorporating these workshop toolkits and training materials into onboarding and annual training curriculums. For assistance, please email nursinghomes@hsag.com.
