Pursuant to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulation, the HSAG: ESRD Network 13 Board of Directors (BOD) membership must include:
- A minimum of three and a maximum of fifteen representatives.
- A minimum of one patient representative.
- A membership that:
- Reflects the overall community the Network serves by having members who represent a variety of facilities/organizations, as practical.
- Does not over-represent any one facility or organization.
Voting members of the BOD:
- Are appointed as needed and/or as directed by the Corporation.
- Serve a three-year term with a maximum of two consecutive BOD appointments.
- Former members may be reappointed after one three-year absence from the BOD.
- May not have any financial relationship with the Network, either directly or indirectly.
