The goals of the Improving Pain Assessment (IPA) QIA for facilities in the Network 7 service area are to decrease CROWNWeb responses to:
- "No documentation of pain assessment, and no reason is given" to zero in 10 percent.
- "Pain assessment documented as positive using a standardized tool. A follow-up plan is not documented and no reason given" by 10 percent from the 2016 baseline.
Focus facilities will participate in the Pain Assessment QIA through September 30, 2018.
