This 1-day bootcamp will present an inspired vision for antibiotic stewardship and equip participants with a set of materials and tools for compliance with the up-coming phase 2 requirements of the CMS mega-rule. Topics include implementation details of an award-winning, results-oriented methodology; the role of a facility pharmacy consultant in supporting stewardship; an introduction to a HIPAA-compliant, web-based data entry portal to ease IP workload; leadership development training to begin the work of becoming good stewards of antibiotics.
