The HSAG HIIN High-Reliability Workgroup assists hospitals in learning and implementing principles of high-reliability and the development of a safety culture.
A hospital culture that supports and encourages safety and reliability is a precondition for meaningful improvement. This session will focus on the building blocks of high-reliability and how they can positively effect improvement in HIIN topic areas.
- Discuss the role of reliability in patient safety improvement.
- Learn to describe the pathway to sustainable reliability.
- Discuss the benefits of a structured educational system to drive reliability.
