Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) is transparently sharing its safety and quality scores and initiatives on its website as a way to strengthen relationships with patients and families.
In an effort to further improve safety and quality, CHOMP was the first hospital in California to adopt the newly released Transparency Dashboard. The Transparency Dashboard is the result of a commitment from hospitals across the state to share data related to several clinical quality topics in a standardized report on their individual public websites. CHOMP demonstrates success in driving safety across the board using an approach that engages staff members, patients, and family members in the community.
