Call Summary
This Medication Safety Learning and Action Network (LAN) Event will feature a panel of patients living with pain, a pain management specialist, and a patient advocate who will explore different perspectives on pain management strategies. Topics will include approaches to non-opioid pain treatments, safe opioid use, and other strategies to promote best practices around safely and effectively managing pain. This event will address various approaches and resources available to you or your patients.

Come join us in the conversation with Dr. Amy Wirts, a palliative care physician who will describe the role and importance of medication management strategies, Carolyn Gallagher, a chronic pain beneficiary who will discuss her journey, and David Andrews, a patient and Beneficiary and Family Council (BFAC) member who will give his insight and experience with pain management.
