Join Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) for this webinar designed to guide nursing home leaders through a quality improvement process to tackle workforce recruitment and retention challenges.
This session will examine common workforce barriers and how factors like organizational culture, psychological safety, staff engagement, communication, and meaningful workplace connections shape workforce stability and resident care. Participants will assess current practices and identify gaps to help prioritize opportunities for improvement and translate those gaps into a focused workforce improvement plan. We will emphasize an interdisciplinary team approach, recognizing that lasting workforce improvement depends on engagement across the organization and ongoing monitoring through QAPI review.
Objectives
After attending the webinar, the attendee will be able to:
- Describe common recruitment and retention challenges and the impact these challenges have on workforce stability, staff engagement, and resident care.
- Demonstrate how to evaluate current recruitment and retention practices and identify priority gaps for improvement.
- Discuss how to develop a workforce improvement plan that is monitored through QAPI processes
