Smoking Cessation Counseling Successful When Paired with Lung Cancer Screening

Georgetown University Medical Center published the results from its randomized clinical study of 92 subjects showing that telephone-based smoking cessation counseling provided to smokers after undergoing lung cancer screening can be effective in achieving smoking cessation.
