October 29 is World Stroke Day, created to boost awareness of the world population's high stroke risk and stroke prevalence. You can get involved by learning the warning signs of stroke to help those experiencing a stroke to get the medical help they need. Learn the signs of stroke through the acronym F.A.S.T. (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call 9-1-1) from the National Stroke Association. Go one step further and join the pledge to end stroke by seeing how you can make a difference in your community.
