HSAG ESRD Board of Directors

Pursuant to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) governance and compliance requirements, the HSAG End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Board of Directors (BOD) includes:

  • Number of Members: Seven (7) representatives from a variety of healthcare settings, including at least one consumer representative.
  • Length of Appointment for Each: Five (5) years.
  • Term Limitations: Two (2) consecutive Network Board appointments. Reappointment may be made after one three-year absence from the Board.
  • When Appointments are Made: Appointments of a Board Member will occur at the expiration of a present Board Member's term.
  • Percentage of the Board That Is Appointed Each Year: The percentage of appointments vary each year.
  • Compensation: Members are not compensated for participation on the Network Board.
